On behalf of its Board of Directors, we’re pleased to announce the formation of the American Serbian Club Foundation. The Foundation is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation whose mission is to support and preserve Serbian culture and history by various means, including a scholarship program for the children of the members of the American Serbian Club of Pittsburgh.
The Foundation has been talked about for almost ten years, but through the assistance of the Club’s Board and membership, the Foundation is now a reality. In March, we formed the Foundation’s Board and filed paperwork with the IRS, which means that any contributions to its mission are deductible from your federal taxes. Helping our students get a quality education and saving on taxes? It sounds almost too good to be true…but it is. ( More detail and full context of this letter in the link below ) ……….
